Log Shelter for group gatherings

A log shelter built by the Works Progress Administration is available to rent at Council Grounds. Located not far from the Wisconsin River, the log cabin can hold up to 50 people and includes seating, a fireplace, nearby vault toilets, and an outdoor grill. Electricity is also available.

Watercraft

Canoes and Kayaks

The Friends of Council Grounds State Park rent canoes and kayaks in season. There is also an adaptive kayak available for rental.

Items can be rented at the park office when the office is open. Canoe/kayak rentals are for the day (no overnight rentals). Rentals and equipment must return to the office prior to close.
