The Friends of Council Grounds State Park are grateful for Incentive Grants provided by the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks. Due to the receipt of such a Grant, we were able to purchase white boards and markers to be used by staff and park visitors to share plants or wildlife they have spotted in the park. They have been used frequently this camping season inside and just outside the Park office.

Additionally, 11 sets of nature guidebooks as well as an assortment of picture pamphlets have been added to the library of materials available for future Naturalist Programs. Thanks to the funds from the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks grant, staff will be able to enrich the experience of Park users.
