The Friends of Council Grounds State Park Wood Crew removed and processed a pine tree from the beach parking lot.

The pine tree was felled by a professional arborist because the tree was diseased and dying. The tree was saved for the Wood Crew so they could make it into campfire wood for the campers at Council Grounds State Park (CGSP). Campers at CGSP have an opportunity to purchase campfire wood from the campfire wood sale shed located near the park office and park office parking lot.
